Once again we are in the situation of lockdown due to the surge in Covid-19 cases and we are following Scottish Government Guidance in relation to this.
The following information highlights how the Co-operative will deliver our services to tenants during the month of January 2021 and until we receive further guidance from the Scottish Government.
Staff will continue wherever possible, to work remotely in line with Government guidelines and ensure that our tenants receive a continued service throughout lockdown measures. Centrepoint will remain closed during Covid-19 restrictions and will continue to review this following guidance from Scottish Government.
Our Service delivery …………………If you are a tenant of Garrion People’s Housing Co-operative and you have a general enquiry, repair or a complaint you can still contact us as usual on 01698 687222 between 9am – 4.30pm Monday to Friday. You can also email on firstname.lastname@example.org or visit www.gphc.org.uk. We will also inform tenants of any updates on service delivery via email or by our text messaging service.
Please note in line with Government Guidance the Co-operative will only be carrying out essential / emergency repairs until we receive further guidance.
Staff will assess whether a repair is essential or not before instructing a works order. A repair that is not deemed as essential will be recorded and held on a list and will be prioritised and attended to when guidance allows us to do so. However some non-essential works will still take place, some examples are safety checks to gas and electricity, fire protection tests and upgrades, outdoor landscaping, close cleaning, void repairs, litter picks, gutter cleaning or any repair deemed to be a matter of safety.
We are proposing planned maintenance programs resume in April 2021 if it is safe to do so with the exception of fire protection upgrades.
