Clark Davidson Former Finance Agent for the Co-op for over 30 Years

It is with sadness that the death of financial consultant Clark Davidson is announced.

Clark passed away on Sunday, 19 October, after a stay in hospital. His health had deteriorated over recent years, but he continued to work as normal during that time.

Clark was well known in the housing sector and provided financial services to a number of RSLs over the years.

He worked for Thenue Housing Association, then after setting up his own financial accountancy business around 1990, worked with a number of housing associations and housing co-operatives, providing them with his accountancy expertise and advice.

Clark’s declining health resulted in a reduction in the work he carried out with the RSLs in the last few years.

He will be remembered by all for his financial knowledge, his character and helping RSL clients through many challenges over the years faced by the sector.

A spokesperson for Forgewood Housing Co-operative, where Clark was a former finance agent, told Scottish Housing News: “Clark’s contribution to all has been greatly appreciated, and thoughts are with his wife Janet and the rest of the family.”

His funeral will be held on Thursday, 30 October 2025, at 2pm in Daldowie Crematorium, Hamilton Road, Uddingston, Glasgow, G71 7RX
