Domestic Abuse

The Co-operative is committed to support our tenants and applicants who may be experiencing domestic abuse.

Domestic violence and abuse can happen in any relationship. It occurs within all age ranges, ethnic backgrounds and economic levels.  While women are more commonly victimised, men are also abused, especially verbally and emotionally.

The bottom line is that abusive behaviour is never acceptable, whether it is coming from a man, woman, a teenager, or an older adult. Everyone deserves to feel valued, respected, and safe.
